DALLAS/EWORLDWIRE/March 9, 2004 --- Claes Nobel, senior member of the Nobel Prize family and founder of The National Society of High School Scholars, will speak on Friday, March 12, at a luncheon program for honor students hosted by Ms. Colleen Barrett, president of Southwest Airlines and NSHSS Advisory Board member.

The luncheon program will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Southwest Airlines Headquarters adjacent to Love Field. Mr. Nobel will also personally present scholarships to two area students, Rebekah Hurt, a freshman at SMU, and Ashley Crump, a senior at Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Fort Worth. Ms. Barrett will address the students as well.

Mr. Nobel stated, "I am deeply honored to speak to this group of honor students and to recognize Rebekah and Ashley as two of the nation's most outstanding students."

The Nobel family established the Nobel Prizes in 1901 to aknowledge outstanding contributions in the fields of peace, literature, medicine, chemistry, and physics. More than a century later, these internationally renowned awards continue to distinguish scientists, authors, and leaders in a world forum.
