Claes Nobel Addresses Honor Students In Milwaukee At NSHSS Event

ATLANTA/EWORLDWIRE/Oct. 1, 2004 --- The National Society of High School Scholars will hold a member event Saturday, October 2, in the historic Pfister hotel in Milwaukee. The event will honor outstanding high school students and feature speaker Claes Nobel, senior member of the Nobel Prize family and Chair of the NSHSS Advisory Board.Also among the featured speakers at the event will be the Dean of Admissions from Marquette University, and representatives from NSHSS educational partners Presidential Classroom and People to People Student Ambassadors Program. The event will take place from 2-4 p.m. in the Cafe Rouge in the Pfister hotel.
"These honor students have already reached great heights by consistently demonstrating academic strength and community leadership, and we are proud to show our pride and support," said Nobel. The National Society of High School Scholars was formed in 2002 to recognize academic excellence at the high school level and to encourage members of the organization to apply their unique talents, vision and potential for the betterment of themselves and the world. Currently, the NSHSS has over 100,000 members in the United States and eighteen countries representing 22,000 high schools.
