Providing the military perspective on the war on terrorism will be three featured speakers Maj. Gen. John Castellaw - U.S. Marine Corps, Chief of Staff and U.S. Central Command, The Honorable Thomas O'Connell, Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict and Gen. Bryan Brown - U.S. Army, Commander, U.S. Special Operations Command. The conference will also feature two panel sessions Intelligence, moderated by Maj. Gen. Donald Wurster - U.S. Air Force, Deputy Director, Center for Special Operations, U.S. Special Operations Command - and C4, moderated by Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Foley U.S. Army, Director, J-6, U.S. Central Command.
The conference will also feature three professional development seminars titled "Enhancing Intelligence Analysis, The Psychology of Denial," "Deception and Counter Deception" and "Wireless Networks: Security Issues, Discovery and Penetration." The seminars will be presented by industry experts and will provide attendees with a deeper look at issues involved in the war on terrorism. In addition, the AFCEA Professional Development Center will present a mini-course on Military Satellite Communications. AFCEA will also present its renowned Career Transition Seminar for military and government professionals considering transitioning to the private sector.
