FAIRFAX, Va./EWORLDWIRE/Aug. 18, 2005 --- The 2005 DOIM (Director of Information Management)/AKM (Army Knowledge Management) Conference will be held at the Broward County Convention Center, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida August 22 - 25. Co-Sponsored by the Army Chief Information Officer (CIO/G-6) and NETCOM (Network Enterprise Technology Command)/9th ASC (Army Signal Command), this conference is the premier forum to bring government and industry together to openly communicate commercial best business practices and government implementations for Army DOIMs. Senior Army, government and industry leaders will address this year's theme, "Home Station to the Battlefield: Enabling Warfighters." Although registration for the conference is closed to the public, the exhibits are open to the public free of charge.
