Able to run Microsoft Office 2000 on TaFusion MEPIS Linux desktops

PENNSAUKEN, N.J./EWORLDWIRE/Sep. 20, 2005 --- Technalign, Inc. today announced that it has released two versions of its award winning TaFusion MEPIS Pro version with Microsoft Office 2000 Pro with CrossOver Office Pro and another with CrossOver Office Standard. The solution comes before the announcement of the awaited TaFusion Business Desktop and Business Enterprise Server.

Although the company's position is that OpenOffice.org is an excellent Office Suite, it admits that there is hesitation from many companies. By offering the Microsoft Office suite, the company feels that businesses will transition with familiar tools. Companies that currently have licensed copies of Microsoft Office will have the ability to purchase the special edition product without Microsoft Office included.
