Sturge-Weber Foundation To Hold Mardi Party February 11, 2006

FREEDOM, N.J./EWORLDWIRE/Nov. 17, 2005 --- The second annual "Mardi Party" to benefit the work of the Sturge-Weber Foundation(SWF) will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006 at the Parsippany Hilton, Parsippany, N.J.In the spirit of the New Orleans' Mardi Gras festivities, the party will bring together members and friends of the foundation to enjoy an evening of dancing, costume parades, food and drink and a silent auction.
Also featured will be a photo display of SWF members in the Gulf Coast area who have had to contend with the recent hurricanes while continuing to cope with their on-going medical concerns.
Sturge-Weber syndrome is a rare neurological disorder involving the brain, eyes and skin. Due to the Internet, the foundation has recently experienced rapid growth in membership.
Proceeds from the party will benefit the foundation's work to educate families and professionals, facilitate and instigate research and to extend friendly support to parents and individuals with Sturge-Weber syndrome.
