MT. FREEDOM, N.J./EWORLDWIRE/Jan. 9, 2006 --- The Sturge-Weber Foundation's second annual Mardi Party will be held at the Parsippany Hilton on Saturday, February 11, 2006.The Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for persons with Sturge-Weber syndrome (SWS), Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KT) and Port Wine Stain (PWS) conditions - all rare neurological disorders. The Foundation provides education and information to parents, families and professionals and funds research into the cause and treatment of SWS, KTS and PWS.

The Mardi Party will have food and drink, a parade by costumed guests, music, dancing and a silent auction. In the spirit of solidarity with the New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration, there will be a photo display of SWF members in the Gulf Coast area who have had to contend with this past season's storms while continuing to cope with their on-going medical concerns.
Opportunities for corporate sponsorship are available, as are silent auction donations.
The SWF can be reached at 800 627-5482 or swf@sturge-weber.com
