AFCEA's Transformation TechNet To Bring Representation From All Services To Hampton, May 9-10, 2006

FAIRFAX, Va./EWORLDWIRE/April 12, 2006 --- Transformation TechNet 2006 will bring representatives together from all branches of service and the joint forces to discuss “Team Transformation… A Must for International Security.” The conference and exposition takes place in the Hampton Roads Convention Center May 9-10, 2006.

The Hampton Roads region is becoming well known as the center of transformational “doing” for the military, government and industry. AFCEA International and the AFCEA Hampton Roads and Tidewater Chapters have put together a comprehensive schedule of featured speakers, panel sessions, and exhibits that involve these groups. Panel members include representatives from the Defense Information Systems Agency, U.S. Agency for International Development, Naval Network Warfare Command, Supreme Allied Command Transformation, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Networks and Information Integration, Marine Corps Combat Development Command and Headquarters U.S. Air Force.

Over 40 exhibitors will display their products and solutions at Transformation TechNet, and attendees will gain keen insight into the emerging technologies that will make transformation possible. The exposition includes local companies, large defense contractors, small businesses and government agencies.

AFCEA welcomes the Department of the Navy Information Management and Information Technology conference sessions, hosted by the Department of the Navy Chief Information Officer (DON CIO) May 8-10. These sessions are open to all Transformation TechNet attendees.

Transformation TechNet offers numerous professional development and networking opportunities. In addition, AFCEA’s Career Transition Seminar will provide valuable assistance to military and government personnel transitioning to the private sector.
