Claes Nobel, Nobel Prize Family, Presents Scholarship To Chicago Student Langston Wesley

CHICAGO/EWORLDWIRE/May 12, 2006 --- Claes Nobel, senior member of the Nobel Prize family and founder of The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), is awarding a National Scholar Award college scholarship to Chicago high school student Langston Wesley. Nobel will present scholarships and address NSHSS members at a special recognition ceremony on May 13, 2006, in the U.S. Dirksen Senate Building in Washington, D.C. NSHSS will honor outstanding students and educators during the program. NSHSS scholarship recipients are selected on the basic of excellence in academics, leadership and community service.
Wesley, a senior at Morgan Park High School, was selected for the award from over 10,000 applicants.
Nobel stated, "I am deeply honored to recognize Wesley as one of our most outstanding students. I am confident that this young scholar will someday have a major impact on our global landscape."
