The NAWER Pledge, found at http://www.freeworkplace.org, states that Members of Congress and elected officials will:

1. Provide support for freedom in the workplace through mandatory use of Secret Ballot Elections on the question of union representation in the American workplace.

2. Oppose Privileged wage scales for illegal aliens as applied to guest worker program reforms under immigration law.

3. Oppose any labor law that does not include the vote of all workers.

4. Not accept any donation or contribution from any union organization unless that union organization also includes program for dissenting employees the right to refrain from using their money for political purposes.

“It is our hope that all candidates will squarely and honestly address these important and vital issues and sign the pledge,” said Will Fine, executive director of NAWER. “The American People have a right to know if their representatives will stand up for the basic human right of being allowed to cast a secret ballot or whether they will cave in to the demands of a handful of greedy union bureaucrats.

"The American People deserve to know how those who would seek to represent them stand on giving foreign workers more privilege than that assigned to U.S. citizens.”

The National Alliance for Worker and Employer Rights is a non-partisan, public policy organization dedicated to protecting the rights of both employers and employees from abusive union power. The National Alliance does not endorse candidates for public office.
