$900 Million Lawsuit Filed Against Canada, Condoleezza Rice And State Department For Profiling Blacks And Rappers

The Hip Hop Generation Pays Back the Great Generation

For Immediate Release

DETROIT, Mich./EWORLDWIRE/Jan. 14, 2007 --- In honor of Martin Luther King Day Detroit rap label head Jerome Almon has filed a $900 million lawsuit in federal court against Canada , the State Department, and Condoleeza Rice for its wholesale profiling of African Americans and targeting of America's top rappers. The suit was prepared by Detroit's ACLU chief and has the following heavy hitters on the witness list: 50 Cent, Valerie Smith, Olivia, DMX, Jay Z, P Diddy, Oprah Winfrey, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, Maher Arar, Toronto Mayor David Miller, Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty, Keith Norton, Dee Brown, Wilson Pickett, RCMP head Julian Zaccardeli, Selwyn Pieters, Said Jama, Toronto Deputy Police Chief Keith Forde, Eminem, Spike Lee, Canadian MP's Belinda Stronach, Judy Sgro, Elinor Caplan, Denis Coderre, Foreign Minister Peter McKay, Rona Ambrose, Libbie Davies, and Carolyn Parrish, as well as Mr. Almon's entire label roster. The lawsuit can be viewed in its entirety on 'http://www.TMZ.com'.

Mr. Almon alleges that Canada has launched its attack on U.S. rappers and Blacks in an effort to both blame them for the increased gang violence and gun murders in the cities of Toronto and Vancouver, as well as in retaliation for the alleged profiling of Canadian Muslims by the Bush administration.

Although the State Department has in its possession secret internal Canadian investigative reports admitting that the country is worse at racial profiling than the US- Sec. Rice has sided with Canadian government against African Americans in what is destined to become "The State Department's Katrina." Mr. Almon also notes that the State Department hypocritically touts rap as the great American ambassador on its official Web site, while selling out its top artists to a foreign government.

Mr. Almon has been substantially aided by Senate Armed Services Chair Carl Levin in his efforts to expose the massive racial profiling of Blacks entering Canada and is also calling for House Judiciary head John Conyers to hold hearings on the issue, and is calling for an official Canadian inquiry. Confidential documents from the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the State Department, and members of the Canadian Parliament show a huge cover up and a blatant bribery attempt by the State Department and Canadian government during the 50 Cent Canadian tour debacle. Mr. Almon will also seek to challenge Bills C-254 and bills C-95 which would ban all US rappers and their CD's out of Canada by categorizing hip hop as hate speech.

During a press conference at the National Press Club and through the Web site 'http://www.kkkanada.com'. Mr. Almon will prove that racism and censorship are the driving forces behind the Black and hip hop "cultural cleansing" campaign-not the fear of criminal behavior or criminal influence of U.S. rappers. There will also be several surprise announcements concerning a boycott, Mr. Almon's legal representation, and a travel advisory. Mr. Almon notes that Canada profiles U.S. rappers while protecting known terrorist such as the Khadr family who are responsible for the killing and the planned killing of U.S. soldiers and civilians.

The case promises to rock D.C. politics, Hollywood, Ottawa and the hip hop industry to its core-proving to be more scandalous than the Maher Arar affair, Canada's infamous "Strippergate," and the Kobe Bryant case combined. Jerome Almon is a U.S. Paratrooper/Desert Storm veteran/university lecturer/author of the "reverse inspection" policy at the U.S./Canadian border.
