For Immediate Release
Dianna's internship with World Internet Marketing Inc. in Succasunna fulfills the final requirement for her undergraduate degree. The quick commute - just a short ten minute drive from home to the internship - has coordinated well with her fullt-time schedule; the hours she puts in are contrast to a part-time internship which typically carries a twelve to fifteen hour requirement. Because she is in the office daily, Dianna is able to more fully focus on gaining the maximum from her experience and has assumed more direct responsibility for operational activities in the office. "I am gaining real hands-on experience directly supporting clients as well as preparing, publishing and distributing press releases," said Dianna. "I have a better understanding about working in a corporate environment and the role I can play in impacting the bottom-line by my own ambition, my productivity and attention to every aspect of the business." Initially, Dianna pursued a nursing degree but learned she had a growing passion in another area. Making the switch from one pursuit to another is not uncommon for students, and Dianna may aim to coordinate both interests in some other capacity. "The healthcare industry is not unlike any other industry: it, too, has a need for communications professionals," stated Dianna. "I'm just getting started and have time to sort out the possibilties." Since its founding on April 19, 1996, World Internet Marketing Inc. has successfully assisted other companies in a variety of ways - initially with Web presence development and writing services, to growing into a full newswire service with distributions of news to media around the globe. The thriving company has maintained its roots in Succasunna, N.J., and has had as many as 14 interns most recently during the summer of 2006 from schools such as Tufts, Vassar, Penn State, University of Connecticut and Seton Hall. Students come from both four-year and two-year programs; some begin with only a year of college behind them, while others are fulfilling their final graduation requirements. All learn from and directly contribute to the growth of the business in the marketing industry, while the company gains the talents and skills, and current knowledge of students in disciplines ranging from technology to marketing and graphic design.
