LEBANON, Ohio/EWORLDWIRE/July 24, 2008 --- Beside hundreds of occupied beds at Walter Reed Army Medical Center there are Little Warriors - the children of those coming back from war.

Seeing their mom, dad or loved one in the hospital can be frightening for children. This week, the Cincinnati-based Thank You Foundation travels to Washington, D.C. to put on an event just for them.

On Tuesday, July 29, 2008, twin singing sensations Ariel and Zoey will join The Thank You Foundation President John Guinn to honor children of injured soldiers at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.

From 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., the young recording artists will sign autographs, hand out copies of their CDs and deliver stuffed animals to children visiting the hospital. The event is the duos first as spokespersons for the foundation's Little Warrior's Program.

"We started the Little Warriors Program because so often the families are forgotten or are a second thought - especially the kids," said Guinn.

The phrase "thank you" has meaning but backing the words with action has an effect. By providing entertainment for military families at the hospital, The Thank You Foundation aims to boost the moral of those affected by combat injuries. The event supports the foundation's mission to show gratitude and appreciation for America's current and former members of the armed services.

"We can have a positive impact on the quality of life of that individual and provide a first strike against other issues [like] PTSD," said Guinn.

Ariel and Zoey, 9, create music that is "a great salute to the children of the service men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan," said radio personality, Dick Purton.

The girls' visit to the hospital can make a big difference not only to the children visiting family there, but to the soldiers themselves. Seeing their children smile, helps recovering soldiers smile themselves.
