ST. PETERSBURG, Fla./EWORLDWIRE/Aug. 26, 2008 --- John Kopinski, marketing director of BagmastersUSA, today announced that BagmastersUSA has completed the installation of two new printing presses capable of two-sided, wide web printing. The type of printing is known as flexographic. Flexographic printing is used to print on plastic film for plastic bag making. These two new presses will print plastic film for the pre-opened bags-on-a-roll making machines at BagmastersUSA. Pre-Opened bags-on-a-roll are also known by the trademarked name of the inventors, Autobags. Autobags are used by most industries throughout the world. BagmastersUSA calls their bags pre-opened bags-on-a-roll. BagmastersUSA is a nationwide manufacturer of all types of plastic bags. Kopinski stated, "The quality of our printing improves with every capital investment we make in our equipment. These presses were custom designed to give us full process printing capability. Process printing is the process of printing where the four colors of cyan, yellow, magenta and black are applied in layers that can make printing that looks like a photograph. Our new presses have wide webs and can run at high speeds. We are also able to run them inline with our bag making equipment, which speeds up our production time."
BagmastersUSA also has a large inventory of printing press sleeves. The large metal sleeves are where the printing plates, made out of a photopolymer material, are mounted. As the sleeves spin, the printing plates pick up ink from laser engraved anilox rollers and then deposit the ink onto the plastic film that will later become plastic bags. A large inventory of these cylinders is what enables BagmastersUSA to be able to print a large number of different size bags.
In addition to printing plastic film for pre-opened bags-on-a-roll machines, BagmastersUSA will also be able to print film for merchandise bags, wicketed bags, zipper bags, tape closure bags, standard flat bags, mulch bags and ice bags.
In addition to the improvements to its printing capabilities, the Web site of BagmastersUSA, 'http://www.bagmastersusa.com'">http://www.bagmastersusa.com', has been updated to include online ordering.
