To prepare for the introduction of the production electric vehicle (EV) into the United States market, the McBidz Corporation had incorporated Mobile Charging, bought several premium domain names related to the electric vehicle, and been in talks with private companies to develop a fast charger capable of charging the new line of production electric vehicles soon to be rolled out in the U.S. Conceived as a better option than Project Better Place led by Shai Agassi - which, according to McBidz President/CEO Charles McCracken, is in the process of wasting $200 million in venture capital funds on a failed system, Mobile Charging was designed to use mobile service trucks to fast charge customers electric vehicles (EV) at their convenience rather than having to stop by stations to either swap the battery out or go to designated charging areas like gas stations.

Due to the demands of the new McBidz Web site which seeks to create the largest self contained community on the Internet, Mobile Charging Inc. has been placed up for sale with a minimum bid of 1 million ($1,000,000) dollars. McCracken says the offering includes the corporate name, Web site, and all the dot.com names that were acquired. Domains included in the sale are MOBILECHARGING.COM, AUTOMOBILECHARGING.COM, AUTOMOBILECHARGE.COM, MOBILEAUTOCHARGE.COM, MOBILEAUTOCHARGING.COM, and MOBILECARCHARGE.COM.
