PHOTO AVAILABLE: Morris County College Student Alissa Treible Takes Position For University of Rhode Island, Post-internship World Internet Marketing Inc.

    For Immediate Release

SUCCASUNNA, N.J./EWORLDWIRE/May 20, 2009 --- For one soon-to-be County College of Morris (CCM) graduate, Alissa Treible is just hours away from landing a long-sought after prize: an associate's degree in graphic design. With an internship at World Internet Marketing Inc. underway, she's stepping closer to the final leg of an academic journey inspired by a CCM art professor - and her destination of University of Rhode Island (URI) next fall.

By spreading her 150-hour requirement over the final semester at the Morris County offices of the dozen-year-old company, Treible is setting the stage to showcase her talents at Cosmopolitan Magazine, should she be successful at capturing a coveted spot on the internship team for the summer.

Treible's passion for tapping her toes on stage as a dancer encompassed 14 years and expanded to tapping her fingers on a mouse. Whether on her toes performing or moving her hands to transform idea into design, she's enthused about her future.

"This internship is opening my eyes to opportunities I had never considered," said Treible. "From my first day, I felt comfortable and applied my skills to a practical use."

Treible discovered the internship opportunity at World Internet Marketing with the help of her peers. "A previous CCM student interned here."

Although she already was very familiar with other applications in the Adobe suite of programs - Photoshop and Illustrator - the first project she was asked to get involved with put her in front of a computer and a program she did not know: Adobe Premiere. A video editing program, using Premiere allowed her to demonstrate her ability to adapt and be flexible, while building skills in the program.

"When I was asked about video editing, I could only cite my knowledge of graphic design," said Treible. "Seeing how easily and quickly I could master a moving timeline added a whole new dimension to my skill set - and I know it's experience that will be key as I continue on my career path."
