Mirrors Evolution X is the ultimate convergence software

ANNISTON, Ala./EWORLDWIRE/May 29, 2009 --- Today, the Envizions Computer Entertainment Corporation announced that its commercial open source software called, "Mirrors Evolution X," is expected near the end of August 2009.

Mirrors Evolution X is designed with components from Envizions' current open source software called, "Mirrors Evolution." The EVO Smart Console currently utilizes the open source Mirrors Evolution as an operation system.

Mirrors Evolution X software will:

. Sport more features and more modularity for developers and users
. Offer more stability, modularity and be extremely user-friendly
. Allow users to stay connected on-the-go, and provide a more robust entertainment and business platform.

Mirrors X will allow users with no skills to customize their user experience without programming experience. The software will be developed for standard computers and the EVO Smart Console. The difference between the EVO and standard PC would be some PC-specific features will not be available for PC users. Two features not included in the PC version are Envizions custom SD game code and Envizions EVO console E.V.I.N system (EVO Verification Identification Number). The E.V.I.N system is used to protect the user's system from theft and provides system dialogistic checks from Envizions' cloud.

Mirrors Evolution X will enhance the gaming capability of the system. The new software term applications/apps on EVO are called faces a earlier code name during development that's a play on the face looking into a mirror. Faces are the API applications that developers can use to create new EVO faces/apps. These faces/apps can range from food faces that provide instructions for food receipts. Developers can charge for faces/apps or provide user with faces for EVO or PC users for free.
