FAIRFAX, Va./EWORLDWIRE/Aug. 12, 2009 --- AFCEA International is pleased to continue its 2009 SOLUTIONS Series with "IT Acquisition: Shifting to a Modern Paradigm," Sept. 9-10, 2009, at the National Conference Center in Lansdowne, Va. The AFCEA SOLUTIONS Series promotes a detailed dialogue between government and industry on issues of national importance. The IT Acquisition conference contains three track sessions wherein government can share current thinking and direction, and industry can offer perspective and input on current and projected capability. Track sessions will cover Policy, Governance, and Workforce Training; Enterprise IT: Procuring Systems and Services; and The Need for Speed - Rapid Technology Infusion. Track speakers for all sessions include government, military and industry IT Acquisition experts. Track sessions are designed to encourage dialogue among speakers and attendees.
