Fat City, New Orleans DVD and BluRay Pre-order, E-book Available on Kindle and Nook, Paperback Available on Amazon

For Immediate Release

PASADENA, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Nov. 3, 2011 --- Mouton Film & Productions announces that the e-book of the feature film, "Fat City, New Orleans," is now available for a variety of e-readers. It is available for sale to download on Kindle (Amazon), and on Barnes and Noble's website to purchase and download for the Nook.

In addition to the news about the e-book, Producer Stephen Mouton is pleased to confirm that the paperback book of "Fat City, New Orleans" is available for purchase on Amazon. "Finally, the DVD and BluRay version of the feature film are available for pre-order now for the Jan. 31, 2012, wide release, distributed by Vanguard Cinema."

"Fat City, New Orleans" centers around high school teenagers in a 1979 suburbof New Orleans (Fat City) who frequent nightclubs and discos when the drinking age was just 18 years old and not really enforced. It's Paul's senior year, and Ashley wants to be his girlfriend, but the cops and a roving eye keeps Paul chasing cheerleaders and young models in his Babylon Modeling class. Tara, Paul's ex-girlfriend, causes problems while his pot dealer's girlfriend has other things in mind - "Booze, Pot and Girls Rule!"

This coming-of-age comedy has a background score by "That 70's Show" composer Brett Perry and spotlights the "high" days of 1979. The film features music by "The Knack" and "Elvis Costello."

Teenagers as well as adults can find something to relate to in this film, whether it is present in the struggles of a teenager or a sense of nostalgia. This film has something for everyone and is being made available in print several months ahead of its DVD and pay-per-view debut.

Real Time news said it was "both smart and funny."

"Fat City, New Orleans" has been featured at film festivals and competitions and most recently won at the Indie Fest and Los Angeles Movie Awards.
