To Be Held On The University of Louisville's Shelby Campus April 18, From 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

LOUISVILLE, Ky./EWORLDWIRE/March 24, 2006 --- Job News, The Nation’s fastest growing recruitment Web and weekly publication and 95.7 WQMF, Louisville’s classic rock station will host a Job Fair at The University of Louisville’s Shelby Campus, on Tuesday April 18, from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. 
This will be the second of four JobNewsLouisville.com job fairs scheduled in 2006. The first event drew over 1000 job seekers and had more than 30 of Louisville’s top employers.
As of March 23, the following companies had signed-up for the event: Kentucky Farm Bureau, Good Samaritan, Wellstone Regional Hospital, Caesar’s Indiana, Waddell & Reed, First Residential Mortgage Network, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, CitiCards, Fire King Security Group, Product Action International, U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion, Kroger’s and First Rate Mortgage.
It is anticipated that this event will both be more heavily attended and offer more employment opportunities -based on the success of the last event.
The employers represented will be looking to fill positions in most fields, including: healthcare/nursing, sales, customer service, finance, transportation, security, IT, engineering and hospitality.
Like the last event, this job fair will be held in the Founder’s Union Building on The University of Louisville’s Shelby Campus. Hours are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admittance and parking are free. Additionally, the free shuttle will be running from the TARC stop on Shelbyville Road to the building.
The job fair will offer opportunities for the job-seeker interested in entry-level, skilled, or professional positions. The events benefit employers and job-seekers alike by greatly shortening the hiring cycle. Job seekers should bring plenty of copies of their resumes and utilize the resources that this event offers. Professional dress attire required for admittance.
