    Telefinity Adds Profit-Making Services For VoIP Providers

    Telefinity announces new profit-making services for VoIP providers based on additions to its hosted provider Wholesale Services Suite.

    DENVER, Colo./EWORLDWIRE/March 29, 2006 --- Telefinity today announced new profit-making services for VoIP providers based on additions to its hosted provider Wholesale Services Suite. VoIP providers can now offer its subscribers 411 directory assistance in addition to exiting Telefinity VoIP services such as call termination and origination, call aggregation, nationwide DIDs and E911 for VoIP. Telefinity’s customers can now also offer subscribers listings in the nationwide Directory Assistance Databases, a service very much in demand by VoIP subscribers but that until now was not generally available.

    These enhancements form part of Telefinity’s new “EverClear Integrated VoIP Services Platform” which provides a programmable interface to various wholesale VoIP services, using proprietary software developed by Telefinity. The large investment in this new cutting edge technology is based on a clear strategy.

    According to Telefinity’s President Gregory Giagnocavo, “We are making large investments to develop new products that will allow VoIP providers to offer new, different and exciting services to subscribers. Our strategy is to provide the products and services that VoIP providers must have to differentiate themselves in the marketplace. Profit margins on VoIP telephony service are thin, but our customers will be able to increase gross margin by 25 percent or more, and set themselves apart from the many other VoIP providers competing for the same customer.”

    There are more products to come, according to Giagnocavo. “In addition to our Avoca suite, we have several innovative VoIP products for which we have received ‘patent pending’ designation and protection, and we will be rolling these out in June 2006. We’re excited about our infoStar911 product which turns every basic 911 call into an enhanced E911 call, starting in June.” InfoStar911 isn’t just an in-house product. “Because of the incredible opportunity to advance public safety, we will be licensing this patented technology to a select few of the larger VoIP and E911 providers in the United States.”
