“Aastra Intecom has always been a strong market leader when it comes to Unified Communications technology and this is demonstrated with its’ track record of successful deployments and reference of IUGA members using UCP in their business. Events such as IUGA user group, facilitate collaboration amongst customers and partners to review new products and solutions that affect IUGA members and the way they use technology to change the way their business communicates,” said Davide Petramala, VP Marketing Esnatech. “Our customers have always embraced new technology and been very successful in implementing technology into their business. Esna is here to support our partners’ strategies and roadmaps by presenting the latest enhancements in our Unified Communications platform.”
Continuing the effort to educate IUGA members on the benefits of next generation Unified Communication solutions, this member event is targeted to telecommunications and data specialists with diverse backgrounds such as operations, technical support, planning, voice and data experience. The goal, when introducing the new UCP 2.0 platform, is to provide an open forum for dialogue that enables industry executives and specialists to gain a deeper understanding of the advanced direction of UC, specifically in areas such as Unified Communications Client Interface, administration (such as mailbox administration, security enhancements, web reports and improved LDAP), improved mobility and scalability, newer features such as integrated fax components and smart tags, as well as Windows 2003 support, new TUI options and more.
The Unified Communications 2.0 platform is already tightly integrated with Microsoft Windows, Exchange, Office, Terminal Services and Outlook. It can be administered directly from an organization’s Microsoft Management Console or through Terminal Services over the Web. Users can be managed through Active Directory and Group Policy.
