Claes Nobel, Nobel Prize Family, Presents Scholarship To Maryland Student Stephanie Glagola

MIDDLETOWN, Md./EWORLDWIRE/May 10, 2006 --- Claes Nobel, senior member of the Nobel Prize family and founder of The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS), will present a National Scholar Award to Maryland high school student Stephanie Glagola at a special recognition ceremony on May 13, 2006, in the U.S. Dirksen Senate Building in Washington, D.C. NSHSS will honor outstanding students and educators during the program. NSHSS scholarship recipients are selected on the basic of excellence in academics, leadership and community service.

Glagola, a senior at Middletown High School, was selected for the award from over 10,000 applicants. She will attend Wake Forest University in the fall. Nobel stated, "I am deeply honored to recognize Stephanie as one of the United States’ most outstanding students."
