Storage Visions 2008 Conference Action Packed Exhibits And Hybrid Storage Alliance Sponsored Reception

SAN JOSE, Calif/EWORLDWIRE/Dec. 18, 2007 --- The Storage Visions conference is the premier conference focusing on digital storage and the content value chain. Storage Visions 2008 (SV08) will be held January 5 & 6, 2008 at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas, just before the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show. More than 500 attendees are expected with only a few weeks to go before the event.
The Storage Visions 2008 exhibits are open from 12:00 p.m. on January 5, 2008 to 8:00 p.m. (end of reception) and from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2008. Featured in the exhibit area are many well known companies in the digital storage and related industries including Coughlin Associates, Denali, Software, Fujitsu, Gaviri Technologies, Hewlett Packard, Hybrid Storage Alliance, Imation, IMI, Mempile, Omneon, Plasmon, Rebit, Samsung, Silicon Image, STMicroelectronics, StoreVault (a division of NetApp), Tilana, Toshiba, and the Trusted Computing Group. Other organization and media sponsors will have literature available in the exhibit area.
TV Worldwide will provide the conference web casts again, sponsored by the Hybrid Storage Alliance, and will record the entire conference and awards ceremonies. Computer Outlook radio show will return as well to interview conference sponsors and other attendees and to broadcast its radio show directly from the Storage Visions exhibit area. John Iasiuolo from Computer Outlook will also be the moderator at the much anticipated, "I'm Your Future, Hear Me Roar," panel of young users at SV08 on Saturday afternoon.
During the extended afternoon break at SV08 from 3:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2008, Hewlett Packard (HP) and Samsung will be giving special demonstrations at their booths in the Storage Visions exhibit area. According to Josh Peterson of HP Home Server Marketing, HP will be demonstrating how customers can get their digital life together and enjoy their content like never before with their MediaSmart Ecosystem. Specific products that will be shown include: HP MediaSmart TV, HP MediaSmart Server, and HP Media Vault.
Samsung is sponsoring an Internet cafe at its booth space in Storage Visions where conference attendees can send and receive e-mail, surf the Web and check out Samsung products.
During the conference reception the evening of January 5, 2008, all conference or exhibit attendees will have a chance for light food and beverages while meeting the various exhibitors. The reception in 2008 is sponsored by the Hybrid Storage Alliance (HSA). Patty Kim from Toshiba will represent the HSA in welcoming folks to the reception. The 2008 Storage Visions awards will also be announced and presented during this reception. Many useful raffle items will be given out during the reception.
