Corporate University Xchange, the Wharton School & Graduate School of Education of the University of Pennsylvania and Fortune Magazine hosted the 9th Annual Corporate University Xchange Awards for Excellence and Innovation in Corporate Learning.

HARRISBURG, Pa./EWORLDWIRE/Feb. 27, 2008 --- Award winners were presented with Excellence, Best Practice and/or Exemplary Practice Awards at the gala dinner on February 5, 2008 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Over 100 guests from organizations such as MasterCard, JetBlue, Staples, and Duke Executive Education attended the event.

The competition this year was especially fierce and the number of participating companies increased 35 percent from the previous year, with almost 20 percent of applicants based outside of the United States. Over 80 percent of those who applied did not reach the finalist level, and the Excellence award winners were named in a special section of Fortune Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For issue.
