New Company Targets All Communities . AGS Releases Ninth Estate Multimedia Platform

For Immediate Release

LAKEWOOD, Ohio/EWORLDWIRE/April 8, 2008 --- The Lakewood Observer, a community newspaper serving this Cleveland suburb, today announced the formation of AGS Software Development Inc. ("AGS"). AGS provides technology products and services to the publishing and media industries, including the Ninth Estate multimedia platform, a software environment that enables publication of periodicals and Web sites by as few as one to two people. The Board of Directors of AGS Software has appointed Tim Curtiss as its chief executive officer and president.

Clients, including the Lakewood Observer and FutureHeights - a community foundation serving Cleveland Heights, Ohio, are using Ninth Estate to integrate publication of print editions with online capabilities. The Observer, a biweekly newspaper with circulation of approximately 15,000, has published 85 editions since its launch in 2004. Jim O'Bryan, publisher of the Observer and co-founder of AGS Software, commented, "Our success reflects the strong support the paper has received from large and small advertisers. The Ninth Estate platform makes it possible for us to run a lean, efficient operation - every issue has been profitable. We have already begun to sell Ninth Estate licenses and are enjoying strong demand from publishers, school systems, and community organizations."

Tim Curtiss noted, "There has been much discussion of the demand for local media and the difficulty of serving local markets profitably. Local and regional publishers have been consolidating for a long time. Many online participants have entered and departed this business in recent years. Delivering Ninth Estate as a Web service makes it easy for clients to test and use this platform without disrupting their existing information systems. We have identified numerous opportunities to add exciting capabilities, as clients seek participation in broadcast and emerging social networking media."

Mr. Curtiss has founded several companies including Liquid Resources, an environmental firm that offered recycling services to clients in the beverage and brewing industry. Liquid Resources converted beverage and other liquid waste into ethanol. Liquid Resources was purchased by Veolia Environmental Services, the largest environmental company in the world, in 2007. Prior to commencing his entrepreneurial career, Curtiss worked as an adviser to high-growth public and privately owned companies. He worked as an institutional securities broker, trader and investor, in New York and Cleveland, for 20 years. Curtiss, a Cleveland native, received his B.A. from Yale University. He is a trustee of Laurel School, a National Executive commissioner of the Anti-Defamation League, an honorary trustee of the Old Stone Foundation and past president of the Yale Alumni Association of Cleveland.
