School disinfection products kit launches to all member schools and districts

For Immediate Release

HUDSON, Wis./EWORLDWIRE/Oct. 5, 2009 --- Armor Healthcare (Armor) announces a new partnership/agreement with Shared Purchasing Solutions (SPS), a division of Shared Health Services and an affiliate of Amerinet.

Beginning Oct. 1, 2009, Armor and SPS will launch the proprietary Classroom Caddy(TM), Classroom Clean Essentials(TM) and school disinfection products to all member schools and districts.

Armor Healthcare's CEO Bob Simmons has expressed his excitement about branching out into the new partnership, saying, "This is a great opportunity for both Armor and SPS to come together and get these schools the infection control products that they need to protect their students, staff and parents."

A tidal wave of H1N1 issues across the United States has not excluded a hit to Wisconsin where Armor Healthcare is based. One single district had 180 students absent in the third week of school due to the H1N1 influenza. "With this partnership," Simmons said, "we hope to have a chance to really get our products out to the school and setup an infection control protocol to help eliminate the H1N1 and other harmful viruses and germs from schools."

Sue Hayman, marketing coordinator at SPS, agreed, adding, "Armor Healthcare is very knowledgeable in regard to infection control; with our expertise in the education market, this partnership will help steer our member schools and districts in the right direction - toward greater germ control."

Armor Healthcare unveiled the Classroom Caddy(TM) in March of 2009. School nurses, teachers and principals alike have already began to truly seen the value of this system in their schools.

"We are excited to be a part of this groundbreaking movement toward healthier school environments," Hayman said. "This is an important time for schools to jump on board with such a program - parents need to know that their children will be protected while in school. This is the way to do it!"

Simmons concluded, "We want schools to take full responsibility for the health of students while in their care - SPS and Armor are here to help them succeed. We are working with a variety of national education and healthcare focused distributors to reach as much of the market as quickly as possible."

The patent-pending Classroom Caddy(TM) - a turnkey infection control system to help schools reduce the spread of germs in the classroom, was unveiled by Armor Healthcare (http://www.armorhealthcare.com) after much research and market testing. The system is designed to make infection control products readily available to students and staff in the classroom. Adding the Classroom Caddy(TM) to each classroom allows children to use the antimicrobial wipes to kill the germs in their work space and to use the instant hand sanitizer to kill germs - stopping the spread of germs to their friends.

An American Journal of Infection Control (AJIC) study has shown that using these products in the classroom and demonstrating proper hand hygiene can reduce absenteeism due to illness by 50.6 percent.
