NCFM Demands an End to Sex Discrimination in Relief to Haiti

LOS ANGELES/EWORLDWIRE/Feb. 2, 2010 --- The National Coalition For Men (NCFM) Spokesperson Marc Angelucci calls for an end to "sexist, inhumane discrimination," as CNN and other sources report charities are denying food to Haitian men and only giving relief to women.

"Haitian men are just as human as Haitian women," stated Angelucci. "They need food, shelter, clothing and necessities just as anyone else.

"This is just another form of male disposability," added Angelucci. "This idea that Haitian men won't distribute the food to their families is just sexist stereotyping. Haitain men work long hours at dangerous jobs to feed their families and risk their lives in disasters to rescue others. But these charities stereotype them as selfish. That is outrageous. Why should they be denied food just because they're men?"
