Global Internet Classifieds Site OLX to offer free classifieds on Web and mobile to Sri Lankan consumers

NEW YORK/EWORLDWIRE/June 22, 2010 --- OLX announced the launch of its free classifieds site OLX.lk (http://www.olx.lk) for the Sri Lankan population. The objective is to bring the best classifieds' user experience to the Sri Lankan consumers who want to buy and sell locally. OLX is the next generation of free online classifieds sites, offering jobs, housing, cars, goods, services, personals and much more.

The OLX Sri Lankan site is currently in the English Language, but OLX plans to offer the local languages soon. Categories like Jobs, Real Estate, Vehicles and For Sale are the most popular categories for OLX in other countries, and the same is expected in Sri Lanka. OLX Sri Lanka is also accessible on mobile through the WAP site M.OLX.lk (http://m.olx.lk). Listings on OLX are free, and sellers can include pictures and video, and can also share listings with followers on Facebook and Twitter. OLX also allows users to comment on listings to create a more social experience on the site.
