SANTA CLARA, Calif/EWORLDWIRE/July 1, 2010 --- XCEO Inc., a leadership & corporate governance consulting firm, announces the launch of the Board Leadership for Mitigating Risk Initiative.

Given the current corporate climate and the ever-increasing demands placed on directors, a board's ability to mitigate risk exposure is paramount. The purpose of this initiative is to conduct research to ascertain a better understanding of directors views about their individual and collective board risk, and to evaluate current processes and procedures that are in place to mitigate risk in the boardroom.

A focused survey dedicated to the issue of risk in the boardroom and the individual directors' risks related to board service will be distributed. The survey includes a set of 18 questions from XCEO's Enlightened Corporate Governance Board Performance Evaluation Program. The survey should only require about 15 minutes of participant's time.

XCEO will provide participants with a copy of the aggregated results. Results will be sent immediately upon the expiration of the survey process, which is scheduled for early September 2010. In addition, to thank each director for each completed evaluation, XCEO will donate $5.00 per participant to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
