Ford says that judicial interference, Sunshine Law violations, and antitrust law violations are some of the reasons Pro Per defendants are not given due process of the law.

SANTA ANA, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Sep. 10, 2012 --- Independent private investigator C.J. Ford issues statement containing significant questions related to judges' presence in Pro Per Cases in the alternate defense services:

Do all indigent criminal defense delivery systems in California offer the same quality of services? In 1987, the California State Bar Commission adopted guidelines on the Indigent Defense Services Delivery Systems that
fully addressed that issue. The goal was to deliver uniform quality and acceptable standards of ethics to all indigent defense services throughout the state of California ... including Orange County's "Alternate Defense
Services."

That may have been the intent, but in Orange County California, taxpayer dollars appear misappropriated - wasted on Orange County's "Alternate Defense Services." The discovery of a corrupt system that does not comply with the established guidelines led me [C. J. Ford Jr.], a state licensed private investigator, to file a complaint with the State of California, the State Auditor, and the federal government under the statutes of the "False Claims Act," to dismantle and remove Orange County's notorious Alternate Defense Services (ADS). My [Ford's] complaint is filled with documented accounts of unethical and illegal practices that misuse taxpayer's money, and is filed under the following categories:

. Orange County's ADS does not comply with the State Bar of California's "Guidelines on Indigent Defense Services Delivery Systems."
. The ADS does not comply with State and Federal Standards and laws that require transparency and full disclosure to taxpayers of the usage of taxpayer dollars. And does not comply with the accountability requirements of the California or Federal "Sunshine Laws" to disclose information to the public and taxpayer.
. The ADS is in violation of the State and Federal "Anti-Trust" Laws.

Ford also contends that the fact that the Alternate Defense Services is influenced and managed by the Central Orange County Superior Court, which is in conflict with the standards adopted by the California State Bar
Commission in 1987, shows bias against and hinders the 6th and 14th amendment rights of the pro per defendant.

Having been labeled a "whistle-blower" in Orange County, Ford has written a soon-to-be-released book, "Whistle-Blowing: Orange County Style," to document his journey and struggles within the system, as he continues the fight to save taxpayer money and Pro per defendants from misuse and abuse.
