TALLAHASSEE, Fla./EWORLDWIRE/Oct. 19, 2012 --- Florida Women are rallying behind Mitt Romney in this year's presidential election. Grassroots groups of local Tallahassee women are hosting a rally at the capital for women across the state of Florida to show their support for Romney.

Through social networking, this event has spread and continues to grow. The Florida Women for Romney Capital Rally will be held on Oct. 20, 2012, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m, on the steps of the state capitol. Families, women, and men are welcome to attend.

The traditionally blue city will be seeing red for this event.

- State Senator Nancy Collins- the 6th Dist. of Mississippi
- Beatriz Maciá - President of Tallahassee Tea Party & Romney Panhandle Regional Chair for Tea Parties

- Burgess Owens - Former NFL player and recently named to Romney's Black Leadership Advisory Council
