COPPELL, Texas/EWORLDWIRE/Jan. 17, 2013 --- The newest app from Alford Media Services, sponsored by Barco, is the wireless controller for Barco's family of presentation switchers. The ScreenPRO-II Controller, the Small Encore Controller, the Large Encore Controller, The FSN switcher are all now at one's fingertips on iPads and iPad Minis. It also has direct HTML access to control the ImagePRO-II and the new PDS series of digital switchers embedded in the app.

For the ScreenPRO-II and Encore Presentation Switcher Controllers, users can Learn, Delete and Copy Presets to the controller, and Edit the text color and transition duration on each preset button in the app; it's totally customizable. Users can re-sequence the preset buttons in the app by holding them down and dragging them to the desired location, and it can be reset to default with the touch of a button. The app has buttons for Clear Layer All, Cut and an animated Auto-trans button. It even shows which preset is currently selected just above the Clear Layer All button.

The Alford Kit gives owners the capability to save the apps preset button settings to a show file within the app that can be recalled and even shared via e-mail. The custom .alf file can then be opened on any other iPad running the Alford Kit.

Those connected to a Encore Controller find the app gives them access up to 900 preset buttons. When connecting to a ScreenPRO-II, the app dlivers access to 36 presets.

The app has an easy connect/disconnect button for Wi-Fi access to the various controllers and there is a button for connecting to the ImagePRO-II or PDS series switchers.

When connected to a Barco FSN Presentation Switcher, the app will only recall presets and will only perform an Auto-trans All due to the nature of the FSN’s built-in software.
